Warren on vacation

Our friend Warren Wise passed away on March 6, 2002, from complications due to stomach cancer. Warren loved the water, and enjoyed scuba diving and sailing as well as swimming. Warren swam with Great Bay Masters and competed with us at championship meets since our first big effort in the spring of 1998. Warren continued to swim with us throughout his illness and even competed at the 25-Meter Championships at Wheaton in December 2001. We will always remember Warren’s strength, resilience, positive attitude and sense of humor.
