MEET ANNOUNCEMENT: 
2008 New England LMSC Short Course Meters Championship 
and New England Masters Workout Group Challenge; 
December 12-14, 2008 at Boston University Fitness and Recreation Center


Welcome to the New England LMSC Short Course Meters Championship E-News. This
E-News letter will periodically provide information about the meet, reminders on
important dates, etc.

FOR 3rd YEAR MEET AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY FITREC CENTER
Beautiful state of the art facility on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. The
competition pool features ten racing lanes with additional area for continuous
warm up and warm down, electronic timing and scoreboard. Water depth is 7 to
13.5 feet.  There were 559 entrants in the 2007 meet, we hope for another well
attended, fun and exciting event this year. 


WHAT'S NEW THIS YEAR: 
- New event order; 400 IM and 400 Free individual events moved to the end of the
day on Saturday and Sunday, after the 400 meter relays.  This will make the day
shorter for swimmers doing only individual events 200 and less plus relays.  


 COMING SOON
- T-shirt design contest; T-shirt design will be determined by Email voting
- On-line entry; not ready yet, but check meet web page, it is in the works


WHAT IS THAT RED FLAG WITH THE GREEN TREE (see meet literature)?
The red flag with the green tree is the New England Local Masters Swimming
Committee logo.  It is the 'Flag of New England'.  See the following link for
